RACE FORMAT

DLV Mile
A 5-lap scratch race timed from the start line to the finish, with riders chasing the DLV Mile record. The current men’s record is 1:52.00, set by Alex Gill on 8/29/15. B/C and Women’s fields will establish new records.

Win-in-Out
The first bell rings at the listed lap. The first rider across the line after that bell wins. The bell rings again, and the next rider across the line takes second. A third and final bell determines third place and the remaining order. Riders who win the first or second sprint should remain on the track until they can safely exit without interfering with riders behind them.

Marymoor Crawl
Marymoor, with a DLV twist. This is a two-lap race starting from the boards on the home straight.

The first lap is timed, but only the timer knows the length. The clock starts once all riders roll off and cross the start/finish line. Riders may not cross the start/finish line again until the bell rings. Once the bell rings, it is a one-lap sprint to the finish.

Riders may get as close to the start/finish line as they want before the bell, whether by track standing, crawling, or trying to guess the bell. During the timed period, riders may go as slow as they want or track stand.

Riders may not roll backward at any point, including to set up a track stand. Riders may not touch their tires with their hands or feet, touch another rider, touch the ground with any part of their body, or leave the track surface. Any rider who fails to meet these requirements before the bell must leave the track immediately without interfering with another rider.

Snowball
One point is awarded each lap from start to finish. The rider with the most points wins. Lapping the field does not earn additional points. Lapped riders are not eligible for points.

Elimination
This is a true elimination race, with the last rider each lap pulled until the final sprint determines the winner. After a neutral lap, the last rider across the line each lap, determined by the back of the rear wheel, will be eliminated. The event will follow UCI Elimination Race 3.2.220 race procedure rules.
